About the role
The Project Manager – Network & Portfolio Governance is responsible for orchestrating end-to-end project visibility, alignment, and execution discipline across all strategic initiatives of the organization. This role ensures that innovation, new revenue streams, and cross-functional programs are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business priorities. Acting as the central integrator across Product, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, and Quality, the Project Manager drives structured governance, risk management, milestone tracking, and portfolio reporting. Beyond timeline management, this role builds and institutionalizes project management standards — strengthening organizational discipline, improving resource allocation, and enabling leadership to make informed, data-driven decisions across the full project network.
Key responsibilities
- Lead centralized tracking of all project innovation projects and establish unified project visibility providing leadership with real-time visibility of milestones, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation
- Reinforce project governance standards, stage-gate processes, and documentation requirements
- Ensure alignment of projects to enterprise priorities and approved roadmaps
- Serve as neutral integrator across Product, Brand, Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, and Quality
- Facilitate structured project kick-offs, milestone reviews, and steering committee meetings
- Develop and maintain detailed project timelines with clear critical paths and interdependencies
- Monitor milestone adherence and ensure corrective actions are implemented when slippages occur
- Lead structured risk identification, evaluation, mitigation planning, and tracking across projects
- Prepare monthly and quarterly portfolio health reports for executive leadership
- Institutionalize best practices in project management across teams and build templates, trackers, and operating rhythms that reduce ambiguity and improve predictability
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Operations, or related field
- At least 5–8 years of experience in project management, product development, operations, or cross-functional program management
- Experience handling multi-stakeholder projects in a manufacturing, FMCG, consumer durables, or tech-driven environment
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time across complex cross-functional teams
- Strong project planning, milestone tracking, and follow-through capabilities
- Able to identify critical paths, dependencies, and risks early and anticipate bottlenecks
- Builds alignment across Product, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Manufacturing and drives accountability without relying on formal authority
- Comfortable building and maintaining trackers, timelines, and executive dashboards with high attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Clear, structured communicator — verbal and written
- Highly organized and process-driven with strong accountability mindset and bias for action
