Work Location: Quezon City
Work Setup: 100% Work From Home (Training and Post-Training)
Work Shift: Dayshift to Midshift

Work Schedule:

• Training: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Post-Training: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Inpatient Coding Specialist to review hospital medical records, accurately encode patient charts, and process insurance claims. The ideal candidate has a strong background in inpatient medical coding, knowledge of healthcare documentation, and the ability to identify and resolve missing information to support timely reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical records following hospital visits.
• Accurately encode patient charts to facilitate claims processing.
• Identify missing or incomplete medical information and coordinate appropriate resolutions.
• Prepare and submit required forms and documentation to insurance providers for reimbursement.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of medical records and coding documentation.
• Adhere to established coding guidelines, quality standards, and processing procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing or any Medical Allied course.
• Must possess an active CIC, CCS, or CPC certification.
• At least 2 years of experience in Inpatient Coding.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, clinical documentation, and inpatient coding guidelines.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet productivity and quality targets.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Training and Transition Timeline

The role follows a structured training and ramp-up program:

• Training: 6–8 weeks (WFH)
• Pre-bill: 2–4 weeks
• Ramp-up: 4–6 weeks
• Post-Training: WFH, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
