Essential Job Description

Thoroughly review and analyze facility inpatient medical records to identify pertinent diagnoses, procedures, and treatments.

Accurately assign medical codes to precisely reflect clinical documentation.
Ensure the integrity and precision of coded data.
Stay abreast of evolving coding guidelines, regulations, and industry best practices through continuous research.
Actively participate in coding quality improvement processes to uphold and enhance your coding accuracy.
Maintain optimal productivity levels while adhering to established coding quality and efficiency benchmarks.
Uphold strict patient confidentiality and privacy standards in strict compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
