Inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Role: Inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) responsible for contributing to patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Responsibilities: Provide compassionate, direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, address patient and family needs, and participate in discharge planning. Evaluate intervention effectiveness and assist in decision-making. Mentor new staff and students, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Nursing. Capable of working under a Temporary Practice Permit until NCLEX is passed. Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills. Ability to meet unit-specific care standards and contribute to a positive environment.

Key Duties: Contribute data for assessments, reinforce education, evaluate patient responses, and collaborate with healthcare team members. Support evidence-based practice and participate in unit governance. Maintain compliance with organizational policies and safety protocols.
