Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Inpatient Medical Coder Manager to oversee inpatient medical coding operations, coding quality, compliance, and team performance. The role will supervise coding activities, establish quality review processes, and ensure inpatient records are coded accurately and consistently with applicable coding standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage activities related to the review and coding of inpatient medical records.
• Establish, implement, and maintain formal coding review and compliance processes.
• Conduct and oversee first-level coding audits.
• Perform data quality reviews of inpatient records.
• Validate ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and other applicable codes.
• Monitor coding accuracy, productivity, and compliance.
• Provide guidance and coaching to medical coders.
• Identify coding discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare coding quality and performance reports for management.
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies and applicable coding standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of inpatient coding experience, including prior supervisory or management responsibilities.
• Must possess CCS, CIC, or CPC certification.
• Advanced knowledge of medical record keeping, medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Strong understanding of disease states, sequencing, progression, and documentation as applied to coding and abstraction.
• Advanced knowledge of ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS coding systems.
• Ability to read, interpret, and evaluate complex technical and clinical information.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and quality-management skills.

Pay: Php50,000.00 - Php200,000.00 per month
