Urgent Hiring: Inpatient Medical Coder (PHRN/Medical Allied)

Job Overview

The Inpatient Medical Coder is responsible for reviewing inpatient medical records and assigning accurate ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes to diagnoses and procedures performed during hospital admissions.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze inpatient medical records to assign accurate codes.
• Apply ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS coding guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards and regulatory requirements.
• Validate documentation to ensure accurate DRG assignment.
• Work closely with clinical staff to clarify incomplete documentation.
• Maintain productivity and quality metrics.
• Participate in internal and external coding audits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Medical Allied Course, Nursing, or Health Information Management.
• Certified coder (e.g., CCS, CPC, CIC).
• Strong knowledge of DRG assignment and inpatient coding guidelines.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

Experience Requirement

• 2–4 years of inpatient coding experience preferred.
• With 1 yr Inpatient medical coding experience in clinical/BPO/CPO set-up

• Shift: Mid shift but must be good with Shifting
• Work Arrangement: Remote / Hybrid
• Start Date: ASAP
• Location: Central Luzon, Manila, Cebu
