Inprocess Quality HOD

• Lead the in-process quality team and coordinate checks across working machines.
• Ensure inspectors read the correct drawings and check required dimensions using Verniers, gauges, and the VMM machine where needed.
• Ensure First Piece Inspection Reports are completed and the planning board is updated after inspection.
• Ensure hourly QC rounds are carried out and results are recorded.
• Review rejected parts, make sure they are separated, and work with production to address repeated defects.
• Ensure inspection parameters and QC-related downtime are entered in production cards.
• Keep current drawings at the relevant machines and ensure QC documents are stored properly.
• Ensure Verniers and gauges are used correctly, kept in their boxes between checks, and returned to their designated locations.
• Review whether end pieces can be machined and ensure their daily weight is recorded with rejection records.
• Guide inspectors and coordinate with production and planning teams when quality issues affect production.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
