Inserting and Bindery Equipment Operator

What you'll do

• Operate and maintain inserting/bindery and related production equipment in a direct mail environment.
• Perform job-specific adjustments per instructions and hit or exceed production standards.
• Troubleshoot with minimal delay and escalate developing issues with corrective actions.
• Reduce cost-related errors by following SOPs and verifying quality throughout runs.
• Collaborate across shifts; communicate status and concerns at shift change.
• Respond urgently to downtime to meet production requirements.
• Support continuous improvement to drive throughput and quality.
• Pitch in with additional tasks to ensure team success.

Schedule

• Full-time, 10-hour shift, 3PM–1AM

What it takes

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Experience: 2 years in manufacturing (preferred). We will train motivated candidates willing to learn our business.
• Skills: Manual dexterity, mechanical aptitude, safe equipment installation/maintenance/repair.
• Knowledge: Predictive and productive maintenance systems; departmental SOP adherence.
• Safety: Lock-out/tag-out and HazCom compliance.
• Physical: Stand on concrete 10–12 hours; bend; perform repetitive motions; lift 25 lbs. regularly and up to 40 lbs. occasionally.
• Work style: Reliable, punctual, accountable for quality; strong communicator; works independently and on a team; willing to work overtime.
