Duties

• Operate various warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, stock, and move materials safely and efficiently
• Manage inventory control using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software to ensure accurate stock levels and order fulfillment
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities by preparing shipments, verifying orders, and ensuring proper packaging according to safety regulations
• Conduct manual handling of materials, heavy lifting, and stock stocking while adhering to OSHA safety standards and PPE use protocols
• Support warehouse distribution processes by picking, packing, and organizing products for timely order fulfillment and delivery
• Maintain a safe working environment by following safety regulations, performing routine safety checks, and participating in safety protocol training
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize warehouse operations, improve inventory accuracy, and ensure compliance with all safety procedures

Requirements

• Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, cranes, forklift trucks, or order pickers in a warehouse setting
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software like AS400 or similar platforms
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and stocking while maintaining safety standards
• Familiarity with logistics processes including shipping & receiving, order picking & packing, load & unload procedures
• Basic math skills for inventory counts and order processing accuracy
• Demonstrated understanding of OSHA regulations and safety protocol adherence in a warehouse environment
• Warehouse supervisor experience or similar roles preferred but not required; willingness to learn technical proficiency on various material handling equipment
