Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring freshness and presentation.
• Operate POS systems such as Speedline POS accurately for order processing, sales transactions, and cash handling.
• Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food preparation zones in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Assist with food industry tasks such as bussing tables, stocking supplies, and managing food handling procedures.
• Manage cash register operations including cashiering duties, basic math calculations, and balancing cash drawers at shift end.
• Support team members during busy periods by efficiently managing time, multitasking between serving customers, food prep, and cleaning duties.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Speedline is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and ability to communicate clearly.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and order accuracy.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively.
• Experience with culinary tasks or kitchen experience is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
