About the Position

This is a dual-role position combining inside sales, business development, and client relations.

You'll be responsible for handling incoming customer inquiries, providing quotes, coordinating schedules, and maintaining strong relationships with our existing customers.

Equally important, you'll actively generate new business through outbound sales calls, lead follow-up, customer reactivation, and commercial prospecting.

We need someone who doesn't just wait for the phone to ring but looks for opportunities to grow our business and keep our cleaning teams' schedules full.

Success in this position requires strong listening skills, consistent follow-through, attention to detail, and the confidence to ask for the sale.

What You'll Do Sales & Business Development

• Answer incoming calls, texts, emails, and customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Provide accurate cleaning quotes and confidently convert inquiries into booked residential and commercial cleaning services.
• Follow up consistently with prospective customers who have received quotes but haven't scheduled.
• Make proactive outbound sales calls to generate new business.
• Contact past customers to encourage repeat services and reactivation.
• Reach out to prospective commercial accounts to identify new cleaning opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to upsell additional services and convert one-time customers into recurring clients.
• Handle sales objections professionally without immediately relying on discounts.
• Meet established sales goals and work toward monthly performance targets.
• Track sales activities, leads, conversions, and follow-up opportunities.
• Help maximize revenue by keeping cleaning teams' schedules full.

Customer Relations & Retention

• Build and maintain positive, long-term relationships with residential and commercial customers.
• Listen carefully to customer needs and recommend appropriate cleaning services.
• Handle customer questions, concerns, and complaints professionally and calmly.
• Proactively work to retain customers who may be considering canceling services.
• Follow through on customer commitments and ensure timely communication.
• Provide excellent service while maintaining company policies and procedures.
• Represent Guarantee Maid Services with professionalism, positivity, and integrity.

Scheduling & Office Coordination

• Maintain accurate customer information, quotes, appointments, and follow-up notes in our CRM system.
• Coordinate with the Operations team regarding scheduling, routing, customer requests, and changes.
• Help fill cancellations and openings in the cleaning schedule.
• Manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and organization.
• Prioritize daily tasks and adjust quickly when unexpected situations arise.
• Follow established company procedures and complete assigned responsibilities without constant supervision.
• Communicate effectively with management, office staff, and cleaning teams.
• Participate in hands-on cleaning training to understand the services we provide and confidently explain them to customers.

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in sales, lead generation, customer conversion, or related work.
• Strong customer service and telephone communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to confidently ask for the sale and follow up with prospective customers.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong active listening skills with the ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and concisely.
• Ability to follow directions, follow through on commitments, and complete tasks independently.
• Comfortable making outbound sales calls and working toward measurable sales goals.
• Intermediate computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, and CRM systems.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to a changing daily schedule.
• Positive, respectful attitude and a team-first mindset.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Must be comfortable around pets.
• Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and dependable transportation.
• Ability to travel locally as business needs require.
• Ability to successfully complete applicable background screening, including drug, driving record, and criminal background checks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in inside sales, customer retention, or service-based businesses.
• Experience working with CRM systems and tracking sales performance.
• Experience with scheduling, dispatching, or coordinating field service teams.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $45,000–$55,000 per year PLUS Monthly Sales Bonuses
