Inside Sales & Customer Service Representative

Location: Streamwood, Illinois
Schedule: Full-time, in person

Responsibilities

• Contact existing customers by phone and email to maintain strong business relationships.
• Follow up with customers regarding their needs, previous purchases, and potential future orders.
• Inform customers about available products, new items, promotions, and special offers.
• Assist customers with product questions, pricing, order status, and general concerns.
• Prepare quotes and help customers place orders.
• Follow up on open quotes and sales opportunities.
• Visit customers when needed to strengthen relationships and discuss their business needs.
• Communicate with Spanish-speaking customers when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of customer conversations, follow-ups, and sales activities.
• Update customer information in the company’s system.
• Work closely with the sales, warehouse, and management teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Address customer concerns professionally and direct complex issues to the appropriate department.
• Meet follow-up, customer-retention, and sales goals.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in inside sales, customer service, or account management is preferred.
• Strong communication, customer-service, and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable making outbound calls and speaking with existing customers.
• Basic computer skills, including email and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to stay organized, manage follow-ups, and handle multiple customer accounts.
• Willingness to travel locally for customer visits when required.
• Spanish-speaking ability may be required based on customer needs.
• Must be available to work full-time, in person at our Streamwood location.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
