CT Industrial Products is looking for a dependable, customer-focused Inside Sales & Customer Support Representative to join our team in Union, Missouri. We supply industrial safety equipment and gas detection products to businesses across a variety of industries through our online store at store.corro-tech.com.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, staying organized, and making sure customers receive the products and support they need. You will work with customers by phone and email, assist with online orders, provide product information, and coordinate with our internal team to ensure a positive customer experience.

We are a technical product business, but you do not need to be an expert when you start. We can train the right person who has a good attitude, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn.

What You'll Do

• Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email, providing helpful, professional service.
• Assist customers with product selection, availability, pricing, and general product questions.
• Process online, phone, and email orders accurately.
• Prepare quotes, follow up on open quotes, and help convert opportunities into sales.
• Assist customers with order status, shipping questions, returns, and other service needs.
• Coordinate with admin, shipping, and service personnel to keep orders and customer requests moving.
• Maintain accurate customer records, order details, and follow-up notes.
• Help customers navigate our online store and identify the right products for their applications.
• Learn our gas detection and industrial safety product lines so you can confidently assist customers.
• Support other inside sales and customer service activities as needed.
• Provide service on portable electronics, gas monitors

What We're Looking For

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Professional phone and email etiquette.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy when entering orders and preparing quotes.
• Reliable follow-through and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Comfortable using a computer, email, and basic Microsoft Office applications.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn technical products.
• Someone who takes ownership of customer requests rather than letting things fall through the cracks.

Experience in inside sales, customer service, order processing, distribution, e-commerce, or industrial supply is a plus — but we are willing to train the right candidate.
