Inside Sales & Marketing Coordinator

About the role

Pure Carbon Diamonds is a Vancouver-based wholesale diamond and jewellery company serving independent jewellery retailers across Canada. We’re a small, entrepreneurial business in an industry that is changing quickly, and we’re looking for someone who wants to help us become much more proactive about growth.

This is a sales role first , but we’re looking for someone who understands that modern selling doesn’t happen only on the phone. You’ll work directly with our retail customers while also helping us create newsletters, promotions, campaigns and digital initiatives that give customers reasons to engage with PCD and buy from us.

Some days you’ll be responding to diamond requests, preparing quotes and calling customers.

Other days you might be building an email campaign, helping launch a jewellery collection, creating a digital promotion or figuring out how to reactivate customers who haven’t bought from us recently.

We don’t want someone who simply waits for work to arrive. What you’ll do:

Sales & account development

• Respond to customer inquiries quickly and professionally.
• Build relationships with jewellery retailers across Canada.
• Help customers find appropriate diamonds and jewellery.
• Prepare straightforward quotes and coordinate more complex requests internally.
• Follow up consistently on open quotes and opportunities.
• Contact existing customers proactively.
• Re-engage customers who haven’t purchased recently.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts.
• Develop smaller accounts that may not currently receive enough attention.

Digital selling & marketing

• Create newsletters and email campaigns.
• Develop promotions around products and inventory.
• Segment customer lists and tailor campaigns to different groups.
• Help create simple digital ads and promotional materials.
• Update website and promotional content.
• Use tools such as Canva, Adobe and modern AI tools to create sales materials.
• Help manage and measure digital campaigns.
• Support new product and jewellery launches.
• Look at campaign results and identify what generates inquiries and sales.
• Bring forward new ideas for how PCD can reach customers and generate business.

Experience in sales, marketing, e-commerce, wholesale, customer success, an agency or a small entrepreneurial business is helpful.

We would rather teach the industry to someone with strong commercial instincts than hire someone who knows the jewellery and diamond biz but doesn’t want to sell.

This role has significant room to develop into account management and broader sales and marketing responsibility as PCD grows.
