About the Opportunity

A global leader in industrial and process technology is seeking a German-speaking Inside Sales Engineer to support customers across Germany and Austria. This is a fully remote position for someone based in Germany who combines technical understanding with strong commercial and customer relationship skills.

The role focuses on managing an established customer portfolio, providing technical sales support, preparing quotations, and identifying opportunities for account growth. It offers excellent long-term career development and can serve as a pathway into applications engineering or broader technical-commercial roles.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop an assigned portfolio of customers across Germany and Austria
• Provide technical and commercial support throughout the sales cycle
• Respond to customer enquiries and prepare quotations
• Support customers with product selection and application-related questions
• Build strong relationships with existing accounts and identify growth opportunities
• Work closely with technical, applications, and field sales teams
• Maintain CRM records and sales activity updates
• Attend customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events when required

Requirements

• Fluent German and professional English
• Based in Germany
• Experience in inside sales, technical sales, sales engineering, applications support, or customer-facing engineering roles
• Knowledge of pumps, tubing, fluid handling systems, process equipment, flow control products, or related technologies
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable working in a technical and commercial environment
• Willingness to travel within Germany and Austria as required

Preferred Experience

Experience within one or more of the following sectors:

• Pumps and fluid handling
• Process engineering equipment
• Industrial automation
• Water treatment
• Chemical processing
• Pharmaceutical and life sciences equipment

The preference is that the candidate has experience in pumps and fluid handling
