Inside Sales Engineer

As an Inside Sales Engineer EP, you will be the commercial and technical point of contact for our customers and partners across Europe. You will support the sales team and Field Service Engineers with service contracts, maintenance and service interventions.

You will combine technical understanding with commercial skills to ensure our customers receive a fast, professional and high-quality service.

Your responsibilities

• Handle and follow up on service requests from customers, sales and Field Service Engineers.
• Prepare quotations based on customer requirements and technical information.
• Proactively follow up quotations by phone, email and video calls.
• Monitor service contracts and maintenance schedules and proactively contact customers when action is required.
• Ensure Field Service Engineers have all the necessary information before an intervention.
• Create and maintain customer contacts, quotations and orders in Salesforce (SFDC).
• Ensure correct follow-up of changes, additional work and any required credit notes.
• Work closely with Regional Sales Managers and Field Service Engineers.
• Contribute to a strong customer-first approach and build long-term customer relationships.

About you

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent through a combination of technical and commercial experience.
• Experience in inside sales, sales support or service support, preferably within a technical or industrial environment.
• Good technical understanding and the ability to understand customer applications and requirements.
• Analytical, accurate, proactive and solution-oriented.
• Strong communication and commercial skills.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
• Good IT skills; experience with Salesforce/SFDC is a plus.
• Experience reading electrical and mechanical drawings or working with industrial safety systems is an advantage.
