Inside Sales Rep

This position will support the Regional Sales Managers by providing pricing, proposal documentation and facilitating order entry of building proposals.  The role is directly responsible for developing preliminary layouts, maintaining opportunity records, and coordinating complete order information while responding to customer requests. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Input customer information into CRM, the site plan database and other sales and business information systems
• Identify local, county or state building codes and ensure quotes accurately reflect requirements
• Prepare budgets, quotes, and proposal revisions using approved pricing tools. Verify quantities, scope, options, adders, deducts, exclusions, and freight assumptions, including truckload requirements.
• Create site plans for new or existing facilities utilizing AutoCAD
• Create building drawings and layouts utilizing AutoCAD
• Enter preliminary order information into Navision ensuring accuracy and completeness – info that is transferred to sales support, who use to make contracts
• Facilitate order process by communicating with both customer and internal departments

QUALIFICATIONS

• Demonstrated resilience and ability to work in high demand environments
• Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with internal and external customers
• Knowledge of building systems, structural design, products and services.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products including CRM, and Excel would be preferred.
• AutoCAD proficiency preferred, with willingness to develop required layout skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office; experience with CRM and ERP systems preferred.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Associates Degree, experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• 1-3 Building or construction industry experience required
• Ability to read plans, understand scope, and work with quantities and pricing
• Strong organization, attention to detail, customer communication, and ability to prioritize concurrent requests.
