What You’ll Do

· Build and maintain strong customer relationships within your assigned territory

· Generate sales through outbound calls, email outreach, and inbound lead follow-up

· Turn quotes into orders while identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities

· Promote company programs, products, and initiatives with confidence and enthusiasm

· Track sales activity and key metrics to help drive territory success

· Partner with field sales and internal teams to deliver seamless customer support

· Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs

· Bring ideas to improve processes, teamwork, and overall efficiency

· Deliver exceptional customer service with every interaction

· Support a safe, positive, and professional workplace culture

· Take on additional projects and responsibilities as the business grows

Skills & Experience

· Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills

· Ability to analyze sales data and turn insights into action

· Comfortable discussing pricing, margins, and customer needs

· Ability to tailor messaging based on customer type and buying behavior

· Collaborative mindset with cross-functional teams

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office products

· Experience with Salesforce.com or JD Edwards is a plus

· Prior lighting industry experience is a plus

Education

· High School Diploma required

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

· Primarily office-based work using computers, phones, and office equipment

· Frequent sitting, talking, hearing, and computer use

· Occasional standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 10 lbs.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
