Inside Sales Representative

Job Summary:

The Senior Inside Sales Representative is responsible for supporting sales growth and delivering exceptional customer service within a technical cable and wire harness environment. This role serves as a key point of contact for customers and provides comprehensive support to the Outside Sales team through accurate quoting, order management, technical assistance, lead follow-up, and customer relationship management.

The Senior Inside Sales Representative will develop and maintain strong customer relationships, ensure timely follow-through on customer commitments, and coordinate closely with internal teams to support the successful execution of customer requirements. This position also supports new business development through telemarketing, lead generation, and follow-up activities, while contributing to program management and company sales initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide customers with accurate and timely quotations
• Generate detailed work orders
• Assist Outside Sales Reps with quotes, follow-up and general customer service
• Follow through with commitments to customers
• Generate RMAs as required
• Assist customer with technical support
• Generate new accounts through telemarketing and lead follow-up
• Participate in Company Tradeshows
• Program management
• Other Sales related responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Associates degree or equivalent
• 2-5 years of experience as technical support, sales support, or customer service representative in a cable. Wire harness environment.
• Strongly prefer Epicor experience
• Working knowledge using Google platform (docs, sheets, chat, email)
• Be able to work quickly and accurately
• Proven professional communication skills.
