Inside Sales Representative

About the role

Thermal Dynamics is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to own our inbound sales. You'll be the first person customers reach when they call about steam traps, valves, pumps, and related equipment. You'll quote, close, and see orders through to the customer. This role works closely with our outside sales team and our order entry coordinator, but the customers and deals you bring in are yours.

What you'll do

• Answer inbound sales calls, emails, and web inquiries, and qualify what the customer needs
• Build quotes for products and standard service work using our CRM and pricing guidelines
• Follow up on open quotes and close sales with new and existing smaller accounts
• Manage your own pipeline in CRM and keep deal records accurate
• Recommend replacement parts, upgrades, and service opportunities based on customer needs
• Coordinate with order entry, purchasing, and the shop to confirm lead times and delivery
• Work with manufacturers and distributors on pricing and availability Hand off larger opportunities to outside sales and support them as needed
