Inside Sales Technical Support

Job Summary:

The Inside Sales Technical Support position is a vital person of the organization engaging themselves across the reach of the various departments including primarily with Sales and bridging collaboration with the Research and Development, Regulatory, and Customer Service departments. This person is responsible for managing the company’s outbound sample packages (domestic and international) and maintaining the company’s sample inventory needs. Additionally, this person will act as a liaison between the R/D and Sales group following items through the project management process and assisting in the coordination of bringing products to market while also assisting with customer specific and regulatory documentation requests. This person is also instrumental in coordinating communication with our Broker and Distributor network as well as providing valuable support to our Sales team. This person will interact with multiple departments within the organization (R/D, QA, Ops, Logistics, Sales, and Customer service).

Supervisory Responsibilities:

· Documents and manages all aspects of sample preparation, shipping, and tracking needs.

· Oversees and owns the management of sample stock of the Sales department including coordination of compounded flavor library sampling as needed.

· Collaborates with Project Management needs to move projects forward through to completion

· Integral role in collaboration and communication with Broker and Distributor network

· Document Support for Customer and Regulatory Requests

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Takes ownership of the stock sample preparation, small scale sample needs from R/D team as needed

· Manages all sample preparation and shipment to customers, brokers, and distribution partners.

· Tracks all Sales Opportunities and Projects within NetSuite software

· Assist in issuing Quotes for customers as needed

· Can actively read formulations and understand ingredient needs in order to assist in preparation of R/D items and other applications needs as directed

· Crosstrain to provide support to Sales team as needed

· Active member of the Project and Sales meetings and discussions toward new products/capabilities and product offerings

· Benchtop batching for sample requests of commercialized items as needed

· Shows ability to learn product line and develop products when asked for further use internally or externally.

· Provides document support to Customer and Regulatory Requests

Education and Experience:

Undergraduate Degree in Food Science or Other related Scientific Field. Experience can be substituted for Academic experience

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Prolonged periods of standing at a bench top station.

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.

Minimal Travel up to 10%

This is an office (Fishers, IN) based position

Pay: $51,400.00 - $58,000.00 per year
