Inside Sales VA

Job Summary:
We're expanding our team with a proactive, sales-minded professional to help our multi-location home services business book more jobs, win back lost opportunities, and build stronger customer loyalty. The heart of this role is fast, consistent lead follow-up by phone and text, backed by CRM management, marketing monitoring, and business reporting. The ideal teammate is confident speaking with US customers, comfortable with numbers, and thinks like an owner instead of working through a checklist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Watch the CRM throughout the day for new quotes, bookings, cancellations, and voided jobs, and act fast on every opportunity
• Call new quote requests promptly to close the sale and upsell additional services
• Follow up on unbooked quotes, missed calls from local service ads, and inbound text inquiries to recover lost business
• Call outbound prospects and campaign responses, and nurture interested leads until they book
• Look into cancellations and voided jobs to understand why they were lost and win customers back where possible
• Text recent customers to check on their experience, send Google review links to satisfied customers, monitor reviews across all locations, and escalate complaints or negative reviews to management immediately
• Post approved content and monitor comments and messages on Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, Nextdoor, and Patch, flagging potential leads and customer issues
• Monitor advertising and campaign performance (Google Local Services Ads, PPC/Performance Max, AI platform ads, and email campaigns) and run daily competitor searches in key service areas
• Run and analyze CRM and advertising reports on jobs, revenue, locations, service types, lead sources, conversions, and cancellations to show where revenue is won and lost
• Review fuel card, toll, and vehicle-tracking reports to flag unusual activity and cost-saving opportunities, and support management with data entry, CRM upkeep, spreadsheets, and research

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience in inside sales, outbound calling, or lead follow-up, with a track record of converting leads
• Excellent spoken and written English and confidence speaking with US customers by phone and text
• Hands-on CRM experience, including logging activity and running reports
• Strong spreadsheet skills (Google Sheets or Excel) and the ability to analyze data and spot trends
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and the ability to learn new software quickly
• Experience posting and monitoring content on major social media platforms
• Proactive, owner-minded approach to spotting problems and opportunities
• Well-organized, trustworthy, and capable of independent work
• Strong communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in a home service business (cleaning, HVAC, plumbing, pest control, or similar)
• Familiarity with Google Local Services Ads, Google Ads, or Performance Max campaigns
• Proven upselling experience
• Experience with call tracking or marketing attribution tools
• Background in customer service or online review management
• Experience reviewing fleet or expense reports such as fuel cards, tolls, or GPS tracking
• Ability to balance several priorities at once
