Inside Security Staff

Responsibilities:

• Monitor guest safety and behaviour inside the venue
• Proactively identify and address potential risks or unsafe situations
• Assist with crowd management on the dance floor, stage area, and throughout the building Respond to incidents professionally, calmly, and in accordance with policy
• Support ID checks and intoxication assessments as required
• Communicate clearly with the security team and management through the night
• Assist with venue clearing at close and end-of-night duties afterward
• Maintain a welcoming, respectful, guest-oriented approach to security

Requirements: Valid BST (Basic Security Training) License

REQUIRED:

• Availability to work late-night shifts
• Strong situational awareness and conflict-resolution skills
• Ability to stay calm and professional in high-pressure environments
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset
• Physically able to stand for long periods and navigate a busy venue
• Previous bar/nightclub security experience is an asset

Pay: From $18.25 per hour

Expected hours: 6.0 – 30.0 per week
