Inside Technical Support Specialist

Job Summary

We are looking to immediately hire a highly skilled Inside Technical Support Specialist to join our team. In this full-time role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for our national clients, handling technical support calls, fulfilling proposals, and developing effective client solutions. As a representative of PRM, your critical thinking skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues will be vital to our success.

While this is an inside support role with ongoing training at our facility, there are opportunities to mobilize into the field for individuals who are mechanically inclined and enjoy hands-on work.

Key Responsibilities

• Field incoming client requests and technical support calls with a high level of professionalism.
• Fulfill proposals and collaborate directly with clients to design and implement effective technical solutions.
• Utilize our active rental portal and online quoting system to generate quick, accurate quotes.
• Represent the company effectively, utilizing strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to meet client needs.
• Participate in ongoing product and systems training at our facility.
• Optional: Mobilize into the field for hands-on, mechanical support if desired.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in a technical support role.
• Technical Proficiency: High-level PC skills are required. You must be comfortable and proficient working within the Google Enterprise Workspace Environment.
• Cognitive Skills: Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills are an absolute must.
• Industry Knowledge: Mechanical aptitude and an understanding of mechanical systems are highly preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Pay: Starting at $28.00/hour, with the ability to escalate based on your experience, skillset, and on-the-job efficiency.

Work Setup: This is an in-office position for candidates within daily commuting range of our offices. (Remote arrangements are generally not offered for local candidates, though we are open to discussion for exceptional circumstances).
