Duties

• Prepare and assemble food items following established recipes and safety standards to ensure quality and consistency.
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience.
• Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, cashiering, and balancing registers at shift end.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, dining area, and food prep stations to ensure food safety compliance.
• Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to keep operations running smoothly.
• Manage time effectively to prioritize tasks such as food prep, customer service, and cleaning in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or a quick service/fast food restaurant is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and the ability to upsell menu items confidently.
• Basic math skills for cashiering, retail math, and handling cash transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple responsibilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
