POSITION SUMMARY

The Inspection Coordinator conducts and coordinates physical inspections of Union Housing Authority Public Housing and Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) units. The position schedules and performs housekeeping and annual inspections, applies NSPIRE and NSPIRE-V standards, documents findings, communicates results, and tracks required repairs through completion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Schedule and coordinate Public Housing and HCV inspections, including annual, move-in, move-out, and requested inspections.
• Conduct physical inspections using NSPIRE and NSPIRE-V standards and identify health, safety, code, and unit-condition deficiencies.
• Communicate inspection results and required repairs to residents, landlords, maintenance staff, and housing program staff.
• Conduct housekeeping, annual, and follow-up inspections and verify completion of required repairs.
• Maintain inspection calendars, reports, files, software records, and required HUD documentation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED required.

Minimum of two (2) years of experience in housing inspections, code enforcement, property management, or a related field.

Public Housing or affordable housing experience preferred.

NSPIRE certification required within the timeframe established by the Authority; NSPIRE-V certification required for staff conducting HCV inspections.

Valid driver's license and ability to be insured under UHASC's plan.

Pay: $36,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year
