Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering
• Fresh graduate also welcome
• Experiences as an inspection engineer, specializing in vessels and piping for chemical plant construction projects will be an advantage.
• Experience in projects related to Japanese company will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of JIS, ASME, ASTM, API, and AWS standards for controlling fabrication of piping, industrial mechanical equipment and steel structures.
• Have the certificate of NDE and MT, PT, RT, VT, UT at least level 2
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Average command of spoken and written English
• Must be able to work at office in Bangkok and upcountry site

Job Description

• Interpret design drawings and specifications and implement procedures for inspection activities

• Control the quality of fabrication work to ensure compliance with international standards, owner specifications, and company standards in terms of safety, quality, schedule, and cost.

• Prepare and review inspection test plans (ITPs), inspection reports, and project quality control documents for management and customers.

• Coordinate with design engineer, Project engineer, Construction, procurement team and customer’s representative and vendor to ensure that inspection and test are performed on schedule

• Control subcontractors in respect of safety, quality schedule and cost

• Identify non-conformities, prepare NCRs, and recommend corrective or preventive actions.
