Inspector Electrical

• Review and understand contract documents, drawings, specifications, and health & safety requirements.
• Inspect electrical works on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications, DEWA regulations, and applicable building codes.
• Monitor contractor activities through regular inspections, measurements, and testing to ensure quality assurance and control.
• Process inspection requests (IRs) and review technical submittals in coordination with the engineering team.
• Maintain daily records of contractor manpower, equipment, and site activities.
• Document site observations including work progress, methods, materials, and compliance status.
• Report on material deliveries and verify compliance with approved specifications.
• Carry out site inspections as directed by the RE/ARE and follow up on issued instructions.
• Perform site measurements and assist with quantity verification when required.
• Ensure implementation of project quality procedures and standards.
• Monitor health and safety practices on-site and report any violations or non-compliance.
• Prepare clear and concise inspection reports and maintain proper documentation.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 8 years of overall experience, with mandatory experience working for a consultancy/engineering consultant.
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor’s Degree preferred for career progression).
• Proven experience in building projects including residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality developments.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods, and construction practices.
• Familiarity with UAE building codes and DEWA regulations.
