Inspector Of Work

Conduct daily site inspections and monitor construction activities.

Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and contract requirements.

Monitor construction progress and report any issues, delays, or deviations.

Inspect workmanship and materials used on site to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality requirements.

Identify defects, non-conforming works, and other site issues, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.

Witness and inspect testing activities, including material testing, concrete testing, and commissioning works, where applicable.

Review construction drawings, shop drawings, and relevant technical submissions.

Ensure contractors carry out works based on the latest approved drawings and documents.

Maintain proper inspection records, site reports, checklists, and other relevant documentation.

Coordinate with contractors, consultants, engineers, and the project team on site-related issues.

Attend site meetings and provide updates on construction progress and site matters.

Follow up on rectification and corrective works to ensure timely closure.

Report delays, site constraints, potential risks, and other matters affecting project progress.

Record site observations, instructions, non-conformance issues, and other relevant site matters.

Prepare and submit reports to the Project Manager, Resident Engineer, and/or Consultant as required.
