Install Tech

Install Tech

Good with your hands. Good with people. At home in a workshop.
We’re looking for an Install Tech to join our Newcastle workshop. This is a role that takes real pride in what they do, and we want someone who brings that same standard every single day.

If you love working with your hands, take pride in doing a job well, and want to be part of a crew that genuinely has each other’s backs, keep reading.

About Us
TC Boxes was born with one simple objective: safe, reliable and secure storage solutions for the tradies of Australia. Over time, we realised it wasn’t just tradies who needed us. Campers need canopies. Hunters need dog boxes. And plenty of people just need somewhere solid to put things on the ute. We build for all of them, and we do it with products we’re genuinely proud of.

The Role
You’ll be the person our customers trust to get the job done right. That means installing and repairing our full range of vehicle storage products and accessories, working closely with the Sales and Warehouse team, and playing an active part in keeping the workshop running smoothly every day.

Day to day, you’ll be:

• Installing vehicle storage products and accessories on customer vehicles
• Carrying out repair work and making sure every job meets our quality and safety standards
• Sharing your knowledge and lending a hand to team members where needed
• Working with customers and suppliers to keep things running smoothly
• Playing an active role in keeping the workshop humming along every day

Who We’re Looking For
We want someone who takes ownership of their work and brings a can-do attitude to everything they do. Someone who thrives in a team environment and takes pride in getting it right, every time.

You’re the right fit if you:

• Have experience in vehicle accessory installation, service or repair
• Are a natural problem solver who takes ownership and sees things through
• Communicate well and enjoy being part of a close-knit team
• Hold a Manual Driver’s Licence (required)
• Have a forklift licence and experience with 12V electrics (highly regarded)

And just as important, you live these values:

Customer First You make every customer feel important, internal and external. You drive positive outcomes and never lose sight of who we are building for.

One Team You say ‘we’ instead of ‘me’. You share your time, knowledge and information freely, and you communicate respectfully across every forum.

Whatever It Takes You go above and beyond to find a solution. You take ownership and see things through to the end, no matter what it takes to get there.

These are not aspirational. They are the minimum we expect from everyone at T.C Boxes.

What’s on Offer

• Monday to Friday, so your weekends are yours
• A fun, down-to-earth team who share a genuine love of 4x4 and the outdoors
• Free street parking
• Ongoing training and real opportunities to grow your career

Sound like you?
If you take pride in your work, love getting hands-on and have a passion for camping, the outdoors and everything 4x4, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply now and come be part of a team that genuinely enjoys what they do. Please note only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
