Install Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Install Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing overhead cranes and runways.

Responsibilities:

• Install, program, and troubleshoot VFDs, remote controls, and other electrical systems
• Understand and work with mechanical, electrical, and structural components of cranes and runways
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Accurately document work performed, including time logs, checklists, and install records
• Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear explanations and recommendations
• Be available for overtime, weekends, and on-call assignments
• Travel up to 10–20% of the time within the U.S.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience as an overhead crane install technician
• Expereince with structural rigging
• Clean driving record and background check
• Valid driver’s license
• Must pass a drug screening and physical exam
• Must provide personal hand tools and testing meters

Preferred Skills:

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Proficient with 3-phase power systems (460/230V)
• Experience with VFDs, PLCs, and remote systems
• Customer-focused with excellent communication abilities
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently
