Installation Crew Member

SUMMARY

Infinity Images is looking for an Installation Crew Member to join our install team. Working alongside the Installation Lead and other crew members, you’ll help bring projects from production to final installation in the field. Projects range from graphics and signage to vehicle wraps, retail displays, and custom installations.

This is a hands-on, field-based role where schedules can vary depending on the project. Flexibility is important, as some installations may require travel, overtime, or work outside of typical business hours.

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, comfortable working in changing environments, and ready to problem-solve as part of a team. Quality, safety, and representing Infinity Images well on every jobsite are key parts of the position.

LOCATION

This role primarily requires off-site work at jobsites throughout the Portland Metro area, with occasional work at our NE Portland facility. Out-of-state travel is required based on project needs.

This is not a standard 8-to-5 position. Installation schedules vary by project and may require early mornings, evenings, overnight work, weekends, extended shifts, and overtime. Candidates must have the flexibility to adjust their schedules and travel when projects require it.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Install 2D and 3D graphics, including window graphics using wet and dry application methods, wall murals, vehicle wraps, SEGs, banners, and signage
• Install dimensional and fabricated elements, including retail and environmental displays, custom fixtures, and low-voltage LED signage
• Participate in local and out-of-state installations, including projects that may require extended hours or multiple days of travel
• Conduct site surveys, accurately measuring substrates, spaces, and installation environments to support design, production, and fabrication
• Read and interpret project drawings, measurements, installation plans, and schematics
• Perform quality control checks throughout the installation process and communicate issues or concerns as they arise
• Work safely in active construction and jobsite environments where PPE and adherence to site-specific safety requirements are required
• Load, unload, organize, and safely handle graphics, fabricated components, tools, equipment, and installation materials
• Work closely with the Installation Lead, crew members, project managers, and clients to keep installations on schedule and ensure finished work meets Infinity Images standards
• Problem-solve in the field when site conditions, project requirements, or installation plans change

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1–2+ years of experience in graphics production, installation, fabrication, construction, or a related hands-on field
• Experience installing large-or small-format graphics is preferred
• Ability to accurately read and interpret measurements, drawings, and basic schematics
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality finished work
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with team members, project managers, and clients
• Self-motivated and proactive, with a willingness to learn new installation methods, materials, tools, and processes
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where schedules and jobsite conditions can change
• Ability to work safely with hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and other installation equipment as required
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds
• Flexibility to work overtime and a varied schedule based on project timelines, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends
• Ability and willingness to travel locally and out of state, including overnight and multi-day trips
• Valid driver’s license required

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Vinyl installation certifications or professional vinyl installation experience
• Vehicle wrap experience
• Experience with fabrication using wood, metal, plastics, or similar materials
• Experience working in construction, retail installation, experiential, signage, or environmental graphics

COMPENSATION

This position pays $25-30/HR depending on experience.
