Installation Engineer

Due to further growth and expansion of the business, we are pleased to advertise for an installation engineer to work alongside our dynamic and progressive team.

Lloyds Dairy Centre is a leading supplier of dairy solutions in Wales. We are main dealers for DeLaval milking equipment as well as offering a large portfolio of products to compliments our milking equipment. From out Lampeter, Carmarthen and Fishguard depots we cater to the needs of farmers in South and Mid Wales. We strive to offer all customers, existing and new the very best innovations available today whilst delivering a trusted and client focused service.

Job Role

The successful candidate would be part of a team that installs a range of dairy equipment from Automatic calf feeders to fully robotic milking systems. This would involve erecting framework, stainless steel pipework, control circuit wiring, fabrication, etc. The position allows for travel all around Mid and South Wales, working on a wide range of farms and agricultural businesses where your input, attitude and standard of work can be appreciated.

Attributes essential to this role

• Full driving licence
• Willingness to work in a farming environment
• An eagerness to learn and develop their skills whilst working to develop the dynamics and competencies of the team.
• The ability to work to deadlines and flexibility within the working hours to allow for this
• Attention to detail and pride in any finish product

Full training to be provided however some preferred/beneficial skills include

• Experience with plumbing/electrics/welding or mechanical mindset
• Basic dairy farm understanding would be an advantage but is not essential
• The ability to converse well with customers to maintain a good working relationship whilst taking and interest in their business and working environment.

The ideal candidate would be focused and enthusiastic, with the ability to think for themselves and actively look to solve problems and work around obstacles that may arise. The team dynamic is very important to us, so a sense of humour, team engagement and respect are crucial. Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
