Installation Manager

Experience : 8-10 years experience in Installation with min 3 years as managerial or team leadership role

Education: B.E. or Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical

Role & responsibilities

• Plan and execute multiple elevator installation projects as per the agreed timelines
• Ensure proper manpower allocation, material availability, and site readiness before starting installation.
• Monitor project progress and ensure installations are completed within the planned schedule.
• Identify delays, resolve execution issues, and take corrective action to avoid project overruns.
• Manage installation supervisors, technicians, erectors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure clear responsibilities, accountability, and regular progress reporting.
• Handle team-related issues and maintain discipline at installation sites.
• Train and develop installation teams to improve productivity and technical skills.
• Ensure installations meet company quality standards, approved drawings, and applicable safety requirements.
• Ensure safe working practices during installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Conduct regular site inspections and installation quality checks.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks.
• Investigate safety incidents and implement corrective and preventive measures.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Design, and Project Coordination teams for timely material availability.
• Monitor material consumption, wastage, damage, and shortages.
• Coordinate with the Sales, Design, Purchase, Stores, and Service teams to resolve project-related issues.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and delays to management.
• Coordinate with builders, contractors, consultants, and customers whenever required.

Preferred candidate profile

Proven work experience as Installation Manager or similar role in Elevators/ Escaltors/Lifts/Car Parking Systems
