INSTALLATION OPERATIONS MANAGER
Full-Time | Office-Based
Starting Salary: £2,500 per month Potential to increase up to £3,000 per month following performance review
Previous experience coordinating and managing installation teams is ESSENTIAL.
We are looking for an experienced Installation Operations Manager to own the day-to-day running of our roofing and insulation installations.
The main responsibility of this position is ensuring our installations happen properly, on time, and with the right people, materials, and information in place.
You will coordinate our installation teams from the office and manage jobs from the point they are ready for installation through successful completion.
This is not primarily an administration position.
Administration, emails, CRM updates, and paperwork are part of the role, but your main responsibility is managing the installation operation and handling the real-life problems that come with running multiple installation teams.
This is a broad, hands-on position. You will not be responsible for just one part of the process.
You will be expected to manage the administrative and operational journey of our customers from the point a contract is received through to installation, completion and final administration.
This is not a quiet or basic administration position.
You will need to be comfortable working under pressure, switching between tasks throughout the day, and ensuring nothing gets missed.
If you are someone who enjoys organising, problem-solving, taking ownership and making sure things get done properly, this could be an excellent role for you.
WHAT WILL YOU ACTUALLY BE DOING?
On a normal day, you could be:

Reviewing new customer contracts and checking that all information is complete

Entering and updating customer information on our CRM

Checking photographs, job specifications, measurements and installation requirements

Contacting customers to arrange installation dates

Planning the installation calendar

Allocating jobs to the appropriate installation teams

Making sure installers have the correct job information before attending

Checking what materials are required for upcoming installations

Arranging materials, deliveries or collections

Speaking with installers throughout the day

Monitoring jobs that are currently taking place

Dealing with cancellations, delays or changes to the schedule

Handling customer questions and concerns

Resolving installation problems and arranging remedial visits where necessary

Updating the CRM as jobs progress

Completing installation paperwork and documentation

Assisting with invoices, payments and completion administration

Keeping management informed of important issues

Carrying out general office administration when required

You may be dealing with several different jobs and situations at once, so being able to prioritise is extremely important.
