What they need

Position Summary

Owns the end-to-end installation process. Makes sure every GPS and telematics installation is done the same way, done right the first time, and documented. Leads the installer team and drives backjobs down as volume grows.

Duties and Responsibilities

Process ownership

  • Maintain and enforce the Master Installation and Removal Manual and all SOPs.
  • Set the standard workflow per job: pre-install check, installation, testing, documentation, handover.
  • Update procedures when new devices, vehicle models or client requirements come in.

Team leadership

  • Supervise, assign and schedule installers and team leads.
  • Run onboarding and refresher training; certify installers per device type.
  • Conduct regular performance check-ins and coaching.

Backjob and issue resolution

  • Own every backjob: log it, find the root cause, fix it, and close it.
  • Report recurring issues by installer, device, vehicle model and client.
  • Implement corrective actions so the same failure does not repeat.

Quality control

  • Require photo documentation and a completed checklist for every job.
  • Conduct spot audits of completed installations.
  • Coordinate with Production/QC so devices arrive configured and tested.

Planning and coordination

  • Plan installer capacity against the sales pipeline and large rollouts.
  • Manage installation tools, consumables and standard parts with the Warehouse.
  • Serve as the escalation point for clients on installation concerns.

Reporting

  • Submit a monthly installation report: volume, first-time-right rate, backjobs, turnaround, issues and actions.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical or Automotive Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years in vehicle electronics, GPS/telematics, automotive electrical or field service installation, with 2+ years supervising a team.
  • Hands-on knowledge of 12V/24V vehicle wiring, harnessing and device mounting.
  • Experience writing or enforcing SOPs and work instructions.
  • Strong organizing, scheduling and people-management skills.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace or MS Office; comfortable with scheduling and ticketing tools.

Pay: Php23,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month
