We’re Hiring – Installation, Service & Yard Support Operative

in house training will be provided

We’re on the lookout for a hands-on person to join our team, working alongside our experienced Engineers and Internal team

This is a practical role that involves installing specialist equipment to support elderly and disabled people for a leading adaptations contractor covering the South of the UK. It’s meaningful work that makes a real difference in people’s lives.

Role Overview:

This role would suit someone who enjoys hands-on work, particularly constructing and installing specialist equipment and products. You’ll be part of a small, dedicated team that takes real pride in delivering an outstanding level of service — with a strong focus on care, consideration, organisation, and quality in everything we do.

We’re also committed to the right candidate growing in the role. Ongoing training will be provided, and for the right person, there may be opportunities for formal progression — including structured development (becoming an installer).

What the Job Involves:

• Assisting with on-site installations
• Organisation or yard and workshop
• Preparing the van and equipment before and after jobs
• Learning the ins and outs of the products we supply and install
• Working closely with our engineers
• Delivering high value items
• Carrying out service calls
• Must hold fully valid driving license
• Must be able to travel to the Woolston office if required

What We’re Looking For:

• An keen eye for detail
• A strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Comfortable with physically active and demanding work
• Willingness to work flexible hours (weekdays only)
• Patience, and the ability to communicate with customers in a polite, friendly, and professional manner
• Basic experience using tools (not essential, but helpful)
• Basic mechanical understanding of nuts and bolts (not essential, but helpful)
• Basic understanding of plumbing (not essential, but helpful)

Wages are subject to experience and applicable minimum wage requirements

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
