INSTALLATION SUPERVISOR

About the role

Support the Project Team and Site Manager in establishing site organizations, coordinating subcontractors, monitoring and performing hands-on installation, instructing on-site teams, and working closely with the client's Project Management and Operator teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise installation teams, subcontractors, and on-site activities. Coordinate with the Project Team and Head of Service to ensure effective site organization.
• Perform hands-on installation, site monitoring, and technical problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
• Work with pneumatic process equipment and machinery. Basic knowledge of PLC parameters and troubleshooting is an advantage.
• Work closely with client Project Managers and operators and coordinate with engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with basic site safety requirements, proper use of PPE, safety briefings, and safe working practices.
• Carry out installation work in accordance with engineering documents, including P&IDs, layouts, wiring diagrams, and BOM. Use AutoCAD and 3D viewers as required.
• Guide and instruct contractors, suppliers, and client staff during installation.
• Check installation layouts and coordinate with the Project Team and client when clarification or adjustment is required.
• Support the commissioning team during system start-up.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial machinery installation, site supervision, or site coordination.
• Strong ability to read and understand engineering documents, including P&IDs, layouts, wiring diagrams, schematics, and BOMs.
• Familiar with pneumatic process equipment and machinery, preferably in bulk material handling or processing systems.
• Able to use AutoCAD and 3D viewers.
• Basic understanding of PLC programming and ability to adjust parameters is a plus.
• Good understanding of industrial site safety, hazard identification, and risk prevention.
• Strong problem-solving skills and able to work effectively in changing and high-pressure environments.
• Strong communication skills, team-oriented, and comfortable working with people from different cultures.
• Willing and able to travel and work upcountry and overseas as required. Good command of spoken and written English and Thai.
