Installation Supervisor

About the role

The primary purpose of this position is to supervise and coordinate the installation of fibreglass swimming pools, ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to Company's quality standards. This role leads on-site teams and subcontractors, manages customer communication, resolves issues as they arise, and upholds a high level of service and professionalism throughout the installation process.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre-installation site inspections to confirm readiness and compliance
• Ensure all paperwork is completed, including signed variation to contracts
• Coordinate internal installation teams and subcontractors to deliver jobs to specification
• Provide clear instructions and expectations to staff and contractors
• Maintain regular communication with customers to manage expectations and updates
• Resolve site issues and customer concerns promptly and professionally
• Enforce compliance with relevant regulations, council codes, and safety requirements
• Prevent unnecessary waste by managing efficient use of materials, time, and labour
• Lead by example to create a high-performing, respectful site culture
• Coach and mentor staff, including new team members and subcontractors

About you

• Experience in swimming pool installation, construction, landscaping, or similar industry

• Proven ability to lead field-based teams and supervise subcontractors

• Strong track record in managing installations or site coordination with minimal supervision

• Experience resolving site-based challenges and ensuring job quality and compliance

• WA "C" class driver's licence (mandatory)

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills — verbal, written, and digital

• Confident leading teams and providing clear direction on-site

• Highly organised with good time management and task prioritisation

• Practical problem-solver with sound judgement and initiative
