Installation Technician

Responsibilities:

· Complete assigned MDS Job location operations, maintain positive behavior working with install team members & coordination with MDS Installation Supervisors.

· Actively engaged in assigned project processes.

· Working in conjunction with Management, sales executives, and logistics support team for MDS to provide positive output with the installation of applicable solutions.

· Report progress to Supervisor daily and revise plans as needed.

· With a strong focus on safety and in accordance with MDS safety requirements and established protocols. Maintain a healthy and safe work environment by following procedures and standards and complying with legal regulations.

· Leveraging functional understanding of MDS solutions, assist the Technical Support team with reporting and technical issues or opportunities to enhance the MDS solutions.

· Travel to assigned work sites as needed during the course of a day.

· Accomplish project goals by following scope and purpose of the project, utilize required resources, allocated resources, embracing protocols and standards, working constructively with all staff, resolving design problems, understanding deadline estimates and adjusting as needed.

· Coordinate human resource needs with Installation Supervisor

· Meet construction budget through direction of Management team and adhering to project expenses.

· Meet operational standards by resolving problems, contributing information to strategic plans, and identifying improvements.

· Prevent interruptions and fines by enforcing and fulfilling codes.

Work cohesively with installation team members in all development, including technical skills, projects and technical research. Attending safety meetings, training, providing support and utilize technical manuals as needed with team members.

Manage all customer complaints through Installation Supervisor achieving customer retention and satisfaction.

Travel can include out of town, with nights in hotels paid for by the company.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
