Installation Technician (Wind Project)

Location: Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand
Contract: 1 Year

Job Summary:
We are seeking an Installation Technician to support wind turbine installation activities for a wind energy project in Ubon Ratchathani. The successful candidate will be involved in wind turbine component assembly, tower section assembly, lifting operations, and mechanical installation works to ensure safe and timely project execution.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform assembly and installation of wind turbine components and tower sections
• Support lifting, rigging, and crane operations during turbine installation activities
• Assist with mechanical alignment, bolting, torqueing, and equipment installation works
• Ensure all installation activities are carried out according to drawings, procedures, and safety requirements
• Coordinate with supervisors, crane operators, and site teams during construction activities
• Conduct inspections and report installation progress or technical issues
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition
• Follow all site HSE policies and permit-to-work requirements

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical installation, equipment erection, steel structure assembly, heavy industry construction, or wind energy projects
• Experience supporting lifting operations, rigging activities, or heavy equipment installation
• Able to read mechanical drawings and follow installation procedures
• Experience in wind turbine installation is an advantage
• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights
• Willing to work on a project site in Ubon Ratchathani
