INSTALLER- CEILING/ TILE SETTER

Position: Installer Tile and Ceiling Setter

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Tile and Ceiling Setter to install floor and wall tiles, as well as ceiling systems, according to project specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in construction, good attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Install floor and wall tiles according to measurements, layouts, and project specifications.

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying appropriate materials.

Measure, cut, and fit tiles accurately using appropriate tools and equipment.

Apply tile adhesive, grout, and other installation materials properly.

Install ceiling systems, including gypsum board, fiber cement board, metal framing, and other ceiling materials as required.

Measure, cut, and secure ceiling panels and framing according to plans and specifications.

Ensure that tiles and ceiling installations are properly aligned, level, durable, and neatly finished.

Inspect completed work and correct defects or installation issues.

Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and orderly condition.

Follow workplace safety procedures and use the required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications:

At least a high school graduate or equivalent; vocational training in construction is an advantage.

With experience in tile setting and ceiling installation is preferred.

Knowledgeable in measuring, cutting, leveling, and installing tiles and ceiling materials.

Able to use construction tools and equipment safely.

Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor.

Hardworking, responsible, detail-oriented, and willing to work overtime when required.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.
