Position Summary

At Barrows, the Commercial Furniture Installer plays a critical role in delivering a high-quality customer experience through delivery, assembly, and installation of commercial furniture systems. This position is responsible for executing installations efficiently, safely, and in alignment with project specifications while representing Barrows professionally on every job site.

Installers are part of a structured, tiered development program that provides clear growth opportunities based on skill, reliability, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Install commercial furniture including workstations, case goods, seating, and modular systems
• Read and interpret floor plans, layouts, and installation drawings
• Load, transport, and properly stage product for installation
• Assemble and install furniture using hand and power tools
• Ensure all products are level, aligned, and fully functional upon completion
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site always
• Communicate effectively with team members, project managers, and clients
• Identify and report damages, shortages, or site challenges proactively
• Complete punch work and final adjustments as needed
• Follow all company procedures, safety standards, and project timelines

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
