Job Summary

We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Equipment Installer to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in craftsmanship, and thrives in a fast-paced, team environment. You’ll install gym and athletic equipment—such as wall pads, bleachers, basketball systems, and protective padding—at schools, sports facilities, and other athletic spaces across Texas.

Duties

• Safely and efficiently install gym and athletic equipment according to drawings and specifications.
• Load, unload, and transport materials and tools to and from job sites.
• Read and interpret plans, measurements, and installation instructions.
• Work at heights, on ladders, in lifts and with hand and power tools.
• Ensure installations meet quality and safety standards.
• Communicate progress and site conditions with project managers and team leads.
• Perform maintenance, adjustments, or repairs as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and company vehicle.
• Represent Key Installations with professionalism on every job site.

Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in construction, installation, or related trades.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders or lifts.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Clean background. Background check and finger printing will be required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to travel within Texas (occasional overnight stays).
• Team-oriented attitude and solid communication skills.

Preferred:

• Experience installing gymnasium or athletic equipment.
• Familiarity with anchoring systems, concrete or structural attachment.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic tool knowledge.
