Home & Holiday Designs is hiring reliable, hardworking, and motivated individuals to join our team for the 2026 holiday season!

For over 17 years, we've specialized in creating beautiful holiday displays for residential and commercial clients throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

We're looking for dependable team players who enjoy hands-on work, pay attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Seasonal Employment Dates

• Installation Season: November 1 – December 16, 2026
• Takedown Season: January 2 – January 20, 2027
• Typical Schedule: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Evenings and weekends may be required.
• Hours vary based on project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installing and removing Christmas trees, garlands, wreaths, lights, and other holiday decorations.
• Load and unload trucks, decorations, and equipment.
• Safely lift, carry, and transport boxes and materials.
• Use ladders, tools, and installation equipment responsibly.
• Assist with warehouse preparation, packing, and organization.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Follow instructions and work efficiently to complete projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Dependable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team.
• Comfortable with physical work and climbing ladders safely.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow directions and work efficiently.
• Reliable transportation to our Sterling warehouse or designated meeting locations.
• Availability for occasional weekends and extended hours.
• Previous installation, warehouse, moving, or event setup experience is a plus but not required.
