Instructional Designer

About the role

Lead the design, development, delivery, and continuous improvement of learning and development solutions. This role combines instructional design, learning science, emerging technologies, and generative AI to create effective learning experiences while supporting learning operations, technology, and strategic development programs.

Key responsibilities

• Design engaging digital, blended, and instructor-led learning experiences grounded in instructional design principles, adult learning, and learning science.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify performance and development needs, establish success measures, and create solutions that support measurable business outcomes.
• Apply generative AI to content development, learning scenarios, assessments, localization, multimedia creation, and design optimization.
• Establish and maintain instructional standards, accessibility practices, content governance, version control, and learning architecture.
• Analyze learner data, feedback, and program results to evaluate effectiveness and continuously improve learning experiences.
• Coordinate learning operations, including scheduling, enrollment, materials, attendance, logistics, communications, and follow-up activities.
• Coordinate with external learning providers and technology partners, including learning platforms, contracts, integrations, and related services.
• Lead strategic learning initiatives such as coaching, mentoring, leadership development, and new employee onboarding.
• Maintain accurate, organized, and scalable learning content, records, and platform data.

About you

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Learning and Development, or a related discipline preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of corporate or consulting instructional design experience, supported by a portfolio demonstrating digital, blended, and/or instructor-led learning solutions.
• Demonstrated experience using generative AI in learning design, with evidence of improvements in quality, efficiency, cost effectiveness, or learner outcomes.
• Advanced proficiency with learning and content-development tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite, along with experience working with SCORM and/or xAPI.
• Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and learning science.
• Excellent English writing, editing, and communication skills, including the ability to translate complex information into clear, accessible learning content.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, project management, organizational, and communication skills.
