Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and creative Instructional Designer with at least 2 years of experience in designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating engaging digital learning solutions. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Articulate 360, including Rise 360 and Storyline 360, and other e-learning authoring tools.

The successful candidate will manage the end-to-end instructional design lifecycle, from conducting learning needs analysis and developing instructional content to building interactive e-learning modules, uploading courses to the Learning Management System (LMS), and evaluating learning effectiveness. This role requires strong instructional design principles, technical proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to deliver impactful learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities1. Instructional Design and Content Development

• Conduct learning needs analysis and identify learning objectives, target audiences, and performance gaps.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), trainers, and stakeholders to gather content and translate complex information into effective learning materials.
• Develop instructional design plans, storyboards, scripts, and course outlines aligned with learning objectives.
• Apply adult learning principles, instructional design models, and appropriate learning strategies to create engaging and learner-centered experiences.
• Design and develop e-learning modules, microlearning courses, interactive training materials, simulations, assessments, and knowledge checks.
• Ensure learning content is accurate, engaging, accessible, and aligned with organizational standards.

2. E-Learning Development and Authoring Tools

• Develop interactive and multimedia-rich e-learning courses using Articulate 360, particularly Rise 360 and Storyline 360.
• Use other authoring and content development tools, such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Vyond, Camtasia, or similar applications, as needed.
• Incorporate multimedia elements, animations, branching scenarios, quizzes, and interactive activities to enhance learner engagement.
• Apply visual design principles, user experience (UX) best practices, and accessibility standards in course development.
• Review, test, and refine learning materials to ensure functionality, usability, and quality before deployment.

3. LMS Upload, Deployment, and Administration

• Publish and upload completed e-learning courses to the LMS.
• Configure course settings, learner access, completion criteria, assessments, and tracking requirements.
• Ensure compatibility with LMS platforms and e-learning standards, including SCORM and xAPI, where applicable.
• Test course functionality, navigation, completion tracking, and reporting within the LMS.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to course publishing, LMS integration, and learner access.
• Maintain organized course files, version histories, and documentation.

4. Learning Evaluation and Continuous Improvement

• Develop assessments, knowledge checks, surveys, and evaluation tools to measure learning effectiveness.
• Monitor and analyze LMS reports, completion rates, assessment scores, learner feedback, and other relevant learning metrics.
• Evaluate training effectiveness using appropriate evaluation frameworks, such as the Kirkpatrick Model, where applicable.
• Identify opportunities to improve course content, learner engagement, and learning outcomes based on evaluation results.
• Recommend updates and enhancements to learning programs based on data, stakeholder feedback, and business needs.
• Prepare reports and communicate key findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.

5. Project Management and Stakeholder Collaboration

• Manage multiple instructional design projects and meet agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Coordinate with SMEs, trainers, project managers, and other stakeholders throughout the development cycle.
• Incorporate feedback and manage revisions to ensure the final output meets learning and business requirements.
• Maintain instructional design templates, development guidelines, and quality assurance checklists.
• Stay updated on emerging e-learning technologies, instructional design methodologies, and industry best practices.

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience in instructional design, e-learning development, or a related learning and development role.
• Hands-on experience using Articulate 360, including Rise 360 and Storyline 360.
• Demonstrated experience managing the end-to-end instructional design process, from analysis and design through development, LMS deployment, and evaluation.
• Experience publishing and uploading e-learning courses to an LMS and validating course tracking and completion.
• Working knowledge of SCORM and familiarity with xAPI is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and learning assessment strategies.
• Experience developing storyboards, scripts, interactive learning content, and multimedia-based training materials.
• Familiarity with other content development tools, such as Canva, Vyond, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Cloud, or equivalent applications.
• Ability to analyze learning data and use feedback to improve training effectiveness.
• Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, organizational, and project management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with different LMS platforms and managing e-learning course libraries.
• Familiarity with accessibility guidelines, responsive course design, and inclusive learning practices.
• Experience creating blended learning solutions, instructor-led training materials, job aids, and performance support resources.
• A degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning and Development, Educational Technology, Communications, or a related field is an advantage.
• A portfolio of previously developed e-learning courses or interactive learning projects is highly desirable.

What Success Looks Like in This Role

The ideal candidate is a hands-on instructional design professional who can independently take a learning requirement from concept to completion. They can analyze learning needs, design and develop effective e-learning content using Articulate Rise and Storyline, deploy courses to the LMS, validate functionality and tracking, and evaluate learning outcomes to recommend continuous improvements.

Pay: Php50,000.00 - Php70,000.00 per month
