Instructional Designer / Content Designer

Job Title – Instructional Designers, Level II

Designated Work Location - 40 North Pearl, Albany, NY 12220 (Hybrid)

Duration of Engagement: 30 months

Hybrid, 50% on-site. NYS MIGHT approve 100% remote for a rockstar candidate but must attend in-person meetings at the Albany office.

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS (Candidates will NOT be interviewed if they do not meet these requirements)

1. Level II- Between four (4) and seven (7) years of experience as a Tester

2. 4-7 yrs hands-on experience creating content and delivering training for products across various audiences and technologies; creating content readied for various mediums – print, eLearning, OnDemand videos, and others job aids, including SCROM compliant training content

3. At least 6 months’ experience working in a government setting

Desirable Qualifications

1. 4-7 yrs Health and Human services experience

2. 4-7 yrs experience creating and evaluating assessments and tracking KPIs (formative and summative) to measure learner comprehension and training effectiveness.

3. 4-7 yrs experience with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) to ensure inclusive learning for all user groups

4. Certification in instructional design, eLearning development, or adult learning strategies (e.g., ATD CPTD or Prosci certification preferred)

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
