Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Instructor to join our team, responsible for providing comprehensive instruction and support within our healthcare training programs. The ideal candidate will possess a valid RN license and have experience working with Home Health Aides (HHA) and Personal Care Assistants (PCA). This role involves delivering hands-on training, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and fostering a positive learning environment for aspiring healthcare professionals.

Duties

• Deliver engaging and informative instruction to HHA and PCA trainees, ensuring they understand essential caregiving skills and protocols.
• Provide practical demonstrations and supervise clinical practice sessions to enhance skill development.
• Assess trainee performance through evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
• Maintain accurate training records, attendance logs, and certification documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Stay current with healthcare industry standards, updates in caregiving practices, and licensing requirements to ensure training content remains relevant.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and administrative staff to coordinate training schedules and program improvements.
• Ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment for all trainees.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
• Experience working with Home Health Aides (HHA) and Personal Care Assistants (PCA) is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively instruct diverse learners.
• Ability to demonstrate caregiving techniques clearly and confidently.
• Organizational skills to manage training materials, schedules, and documentation efficiently.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development within the healthcare education field.
