Instructor, Creative Communication Design program (International Program)

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging undergraduate courses in Creative Communication Design, fostering a positive, inclusive, and practice-based learning environment.
• Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students, including support for their creative development and career pathways.
• Maintain active professional, creative, or research practice relevant to communication design and related fields.
• Collaborate with industry and external partners to strengthen learning through real-world perspectives and practical applications.
• Actively engage in program, departmental, and university-wide activities, including curriculum development and academic initiatives.
• Stay current with developments in communication design, creative industries, technologies, and contemporary professional practices.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Communication Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication Design, Creative Media, Fine Arts, or related fields.
• High proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong professional or creative portfolio in communication design or related creative fields.
• Relevant professional experience and knowledge of contemporary design practices, tools, and technologies.
• Familiarity with contemporary teaching methods, studio-based learning, educational technologies, emerging creative technologies, and AI-assisted design practices.
• Prior experience in teaching at the university level, with the ability to engage, mentor, and inspire students.
• Demonstrated creative, professional, or research work in relevant fields.
• Familiarity with contemporary teaching methods and emerging developments in design and technology.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
